GHOST WALK SPECIAL PACKAGE  

This package will, thanks to popular demand, be offered again for October of 2012.  The Ghost-walks take place during three weekend evenings of October, including Halloween night. Besides those exciting, lantern-lit, candle light, events, even in the daytime a hike to the "Doc Holiday Memorial" (within walking distance from our B&B)  is always fun!

We offer our GHOST WALK SPECIAL package:

Enjoy a Ghostly Weekend at the Lavender and Thyme Bed & Breakfast. This package makes for a booo-tiful weekend by combining a ghostly tour through Glenwood Springs' famous Pioneer Cemetery, where Doc Holliday's memorial is featured, with the possibility of "sleeping" in our B&B with the spirits of history. Included are tickets for the Historic Society's "Ghost Walk" and two nights spooky accommodations at The Lavender and Thyme Bed & Breakfast, where, as one of the "early Halloween treats", you might be served by the ghost of "Doc" or Lotty Palmer. The Frontier Historical Society and Museum presents a ghostly visit to the past. Guides take participants by lantern light through Linwood Cemetery where actors portray people who lived in Glenwood Springs over 100 years ago, including gunslinger and dentist John "Doc" Holliday.

October 12, 13, 2012

October 19, 20, 2012

and October 26, 27, 2012

There are four (4) walks per evening:
7:00, 7:45, 8:30 and 9:15 PM

Price: $ 260.00 per room for the weekend
(includes two nights accommodation and two Ghost walk tickets); reservation, including the preferred time of your Ghost walk. Due to the enthusiasm for this offer we would like your confirmation by October 1, 2012, is appreciated.

At the tour, costumed guides will lead you past the tombstones of such legendary Wild West figures as Doc Holliday, who was one of the guns in the famous shootout at the O.K. Corral, and "Kid Curry" Logan, a member of Butch Cassidy's "Wild Bunch." You will meet notorious costumed characters and the ghosts that reside there.

This is a unique package comprising, per person, a ski ticket, a place in a warm, comfortable, relaxing, room with your own fire-place during your stay in our B&B and a ticket to the Hot Springs Pool.
